Premier provider of Wi-Fi AAA and captive portal platforms for service providers strikes deal with U.S.-based Gate Worldwide Holdings to capitalise global expansion initiative and facilitate move to North American headquarters.
London & New York, 23 January 2018 – GlobalReach Technology, a leading global provider of high-performance Wi-Fi software, service and analytics to the world’s leading service providers and their customers, today announced the completion of a multimillion-dollar strategic investment by Gate Worldwide Holdings, a privately funded venture capital company, based in New York.
GlobalReach, currently headquartered in London, provides a highly configurable, scalable, and globally distributed technology platform that enables telecommunication providers and enterprises to deliver, manage, and monetise Wi-Fi services. Built on proprietary technology, their award-winning captive portal, cloud-RADIUS / AAA wireless platform provides robust public Wi-Fi for major mass transit systems, including the London Underground, and large-scale municipal networks, including New York, San Francisco and San Jose, allowing seamless connectivity for transient users. Its clients include Vodafone Group, Virgin Media, CenturyLink, Telecom Malaysia and Ruckus Wireless, the platform supports billions of authentications, supporting hundreds of various devices and operating systems.
The investment by Gate Worldwide Holdings will support the international expansion of GlobalReach as a U.S. entity (GlobalReach Technology, Inc.) and allow it to capitalise on its success as a market leader in Wi-Fi solutions. Later this year, the company will release a hospitality-focused solution that combines its market-leading Passpoint capability with centralised PMS authentication to maintain a single user store across multiple venues and brands without adding latency.
