LONDON – 12 Sept 2023 — GlobalReach Technology, the wireless ISP software and services technology leader, has announced the appointment of Kathy Smith as Channel Manager, The Americas.
Kathy brings more than 25 years of sales management and business development experience. Following roles at Ooma, threatSHIELD Security, and Office Depot/CompuCom, her experience working with telecom channels, will enable GlobalReach to grow its go-to-market partners of broadband carriers, managed service providers and channel partners.
Kathy will lead the company’s business development in the Americas. She will work with channel partners and service providers to begin new public and large-scale Wi-Fi services. She’ll support them as they scale their existing Wi-Fi estates and reduce their time to market using the GlobalReach cloud Wi-Fi platform, Trusted WiFi.
Prior to joining GlobalReach, Kathy held sales leadership roles, driving growth and profitability; channel investment; expansion and acceleration; recruiting and managing partners; MSPs, VARs, agents and technology alliances; developing marketing strategies; negotiating complex contracts and securing client projects. She is also a member of Alliance of Channel Women.
