We are excited to announce that GlobalReach Technology’s Passpoint solution has been listed as a semi-finalist in the HTNG (Hotel Technology Next Generation) TechOvation Awards.
Passpoint is an industry protocol, defined by the Wi-Fi Alliance (WFA), to allow mobile devices to discover and authenticate to Wi-Fi networks. Importantly, with a profile on their mobile device (provided by GlobalReach is various ways, depending on the customer’s user experience), Wi-Fi access is seamless and secure.
As our video shows, this experience is automatic every time they visit any of the brand’s Passpoint-enabled properties or other partners connected to the network.
It also allows hoteliers to personalise the guest’s internet journey, engaging with them as soon as they know that they are on the Wi-Fi network.
